When it comes down to the Royals, every move they make in public, including their gestures, is constantly recorded and critiqued.
Therefore, with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee events in full swing, we can’t help but share a blast from the past where Meghan Markle can be seen being ‘told off’ by Prince Harry during the Trooping The Color parade.
While the event was highly public with the media clicking the couple’s every move, that definitely didn’t allow Harry to sit back and watch his wife make a huge error during the event.
The news comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will shortly arrive in the United Kingdom as a part of their first grand appearance in the UK since they last left.
While we’re not quite sure whether or not the couple will be making an appearance on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace with the Queen and other royal family members, one thing is for sure. They’ll be on their way to the grand event with their kids and heavy security protocol by their side.
There are also rumors about how the Netflix crew, that’s apparently recording them, will also be accompanying them in the UK. However, they have been banned from showing up to the Royal Palace and hence will be politely escorted out.
Coming back to this Trooping of Color Parade from 2019, we saw Harry making a quick reaction to something and speaking to someone when the camera went off. And that’s when Meghan turned and told her husband Harry something.
And then all of a sudden, Harry said something in a loud tone that left Meghan shocked and forced her to stare at the ground in awkward silence.
Then, Meghan appears to turn around, moments before Harry tells her to go back to her position and face the crowd.
While we don’t know what he said, one expert lip-reader says Harry mentioned: “No, he hasn’t. Oh fine. Turn around!”
Thankfully, the actual footage with audio was released days later and that’s when we got an idea of what really went down and how the anthem was about to be played so Harry was just giving his wife a heads up.
