Tragic reports are coming in from the Ukrainian city of Mariupol as Russian vacuum bombs blast.
Horrifying footage was recently released that showed the Russian TOS-1a which is labeled as a major Flamethrower System.
Moreover, it has been revealed by experts that this is the first time that such clear visual confirmation can be seen of the thermobaric weapons being used.
Experts also spoke about how the use of thermobaric bombs is considered to be super devastating in terms of its intensity as well as the amount of destruction that it has caused when compared to conventional explosives.
As it is, the city of Mariupol has been under constant attack via military strikes and heavy bombardment and this news is adding more terror to the growing hostility taking place.
But, despite all of these claims, the city has refused to surrender to Russia’s brutal forces, despite facing intense casualties.
Recent images were posted and they clearly depicted the launching of bombs via the heavy-duty flamethrower system that struck the city with bombs designed to vaporize bodies.
As thermobaric weapons were unleashed in dozens, an intense amount of smoke was seen being released into the air, clearly outlining the hazardous effects they would have after striking civilian targets.
These thermobaric bombs work in two stages. The first stage revolves around spraying a fuel vapor across the surrounding area. Meanwhile, the second blast causes the vapor cloud in the air to ignite.
The end result is a drastic fireball explosion that sucks up all of the oxygen present in the surroundings while creating a drastic heatwave too.
While the country’s Ministry of Defence had already confirmed the news of Russian forces using such terrorizing mechanisms for their attacks on civilians, this is the first time that video footage of the incident has been released.
