Interesting reports are going on to speak about a remarkable discovery that was made during this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
As many of us are already aware, the tournament had plenty of ups and downs this time around. But British fans are the real heroes for coming out on top. No, we’re not talking about the English soccer team that was sent home packing.
What we are talking about is how this is the first FIFA world cup ever that no British fan was ever thrown out or arrested from the World Cup Stadium this year. And many are calling it a matter that’s nothing less than an absolute miracle.
The news comes from the country’s soccer policing head who says Brits and those hailing from Wales were on their best behavior. They knew beforehand what they were getting themselves into as Qatar has some strict rules and regulations and it makes sense as to why many didn’t wish to interfere with the country’s policies.
The spokesperson for the board says that the behavior that everyone displayed this year deserves a round of applause as it was exemplary.
He added how there were no home arrests made or any incidents that were worth reporting in a negative ordeal and the credit goes to those that traveled thousands of miles in the name of sports.
In 2018 in Russia, there were a total of three arrests made against UK citizens. But this around, there were two teams playing and a lot of face-offs so the chances of something going wrong were even more. But thankfully, it really worked out well in the country’s favor and they just couldn’t be more proud.
The country hopes to see a similar behavior set out by fans in the future too as they are the real ambassadors of the nation while traveling abroad.
