Popular showbiz website TMZ was slammed after it chose to show heartless journalism behavior last night after news about Liam Payne’s death broke out.

While the local media outlet was the first to confirm and break the news, it decided to show intense disregard for the deceased and his family by publishing images of his dead body.

The body of the star covered in blood and lying helplessly on the ground was published on their website, leaving fans shocked, saddened, and enraged by the actions.

A widespread debate began and calls to have the website banned were made, forcing the website with no choice but to delete the pictures with immediate effect.

TMZ was also forced to release an online apology about the matter as it continued to break more details about the tragedy that left One Direction fans stunned beyond words.

Liam Payne died after plunging to his death from his hotel balcony in Argentina. He was believed to be alone at the time and under the influence of drugs or alcohol as erratic behavior was shown by the star, moments before his death.
