The teen accused of fatally killing Austin Metcalf and then leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms at a high school track meet has now come clean.
He admitted that he was guilty of taking part in the senseless killing but also shared how it was all in the name of self-defense.
‘I am not alleged, I did it!’- he confessed in a chilling manner. The 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony shared with the cops in Frisco, Texas, how he was arrested at Kuykendall Stadium, as per the latest arrest warrant obtained by NBC DFW.
The horrifying stabbing tragedy began when Anthony was seated at another team’s pop-up tent while it was raining during the morning hours of Wednesday.
He was asked to move by Metcalf, and that’s when Anthony refused, as per the latest arrest report. Anthony then unzipped this giant bag and reached inside and told Metcalf, whom he had never met before, ‘Touch Me and see what happens!’- as per one witness who spoke to the police about the chilling encounter.
Soon after that, Metcalf grabbed Anthony to explain to him how he needed to move, and Anthony pulled out a giant black knife, and that’s when he stabbed Austin in the chest. In his defense, the suspect shared how he was protecting himself as Metcalf had put his hands on him at the start.
