One hospice nurse is revealing the top five regrets that most patients have, moments before they pass away.
Life and death is a tricky subject to talk about but one hospice nurse is rising up to the occasion and shedding light on the top five regrets that most patients speak about, moments before their death.
“I have learned so much after caring for people that are dying, life is too short”- the nurse revealed.
Julie who hails from the US says that in her life’s experience, so many people that she’s come across in their deathbed have major regrets regarding their life.
Julie who makes use of a TikTok account says that she’s now educating people on the concept of death and dying, and even going about busting all the myths that surround it.
In one of her recent videos, she speaks about important it is to take lessons from others during this difficult time, as they can learn so much, and won’t have similar regrets when their time is near.
“Most people have regrets about not appreciating their health or not appreciating being alive. It’s the little things like these that really matter sometimes”- she adds.
“Others say they worked their life away and didn’t have enough time to enjoy life’s simplest moments”- she continued.
Similarly, there were so many that spoke about how they wished they had spent more time with their family because they are the ones that really matter the most.
The nurse says that she’s frequently asked this question by many and by speaking more and more about the topic, she feels that it’s so important to remember that life is short and you need to learn to live in the moment.
“Please be grateful for everything, and don’t take your life or your health for granted”- she continued.
