The platform has been dethroned from the leading position of the world’s most popular social media website. And now, many can’t help but wonder who reigns supreme. Can you take a guess?

The famous app whose algorithm has been an absolute success with the younger generation is now being dethroned, stats have revealed. And now that we know that it’s not Twitter, we can’t help but imagine the rest of the world who stole the top position.

The news comes to us thanks to Cloudflare Radar which is known to be a popular spot for the hottest news out there today. It ranked in the most popular domains for the year 2022 and some were clear surprises that even critics didn’t see coming.

The top position went to Google, followed by Facebook and Apple. And then you had TikTok and YouTube close down the top five rankings.

The sixth position went to Microsoft, and that was closely followed up by Amazon Web Services, Instagram, and Amazon.

And in the end, it was iCloud, Netflix, Twitter, and Yahoo.

Watching Facebook surpass the likes of TikTok was definitely not an easy pill for fans to follow and as you may already know, people can’t get enough of the short video app that really has so many smartphone users glued to their screens.

As it is, TikTok has been facing its fair share of problems. It’s under intense scrutiny and pressure across the board from officials in the US.
