Four tourists were killed in a cable car crash that hit the ground in southern Italy.
The horror unfolded at the Monte Faito, which is a peak around 45 kilometers southeast of Naples.
Local media reports claim all four people killed were not locals but tourists who had entered the city to take a glimpse of the gorgeous and serene views.
A fifth person is said to have sustained serious injuries and was forced to be airlifted to the Ospedale del Mare Hospital in Naples.

It’s understood that firefighters and mountain rescue teams were currently at the site and have continued to work well into the late hours of the night after having great hardships due to strong winds and thick fog.
The cable car had been over a steep drop when, all of a sudden, it just snapped as per local media reports.

At about 4:30 pm local time, local media shared how the cable car was all broken down and had left two cabins suspended mid-air near the foot of that mountain. Shockingly, the company in charge of operating the cable car said that all passengers were fine and had descended to safety. But one hour later, contact was lost with one of those cars.
