Shocking reports are speaking about a massive pre-Christmas blaze that rocked the entire Eiffel Tower.
According to local media outlets, the incident arose due to a technical issue impacting the life. As a result, more than 1000 people were left stuck inside the historic French landmark.
As a result, the French emergency services rushed to the scene with ambulances by its side. Their goal was to check the issue and see what the matter was all about.
It turned out to be an issue with the short circuit and as a result of this, it left the entire area without power, sources added.
The technical issue took place between the second floor and the monument’s top floor. This led to a massive smoke alarm to turn off at nearly 10:50 am. The protocols followed were in accordance with safety procedures and the entire area was evacuated, the spokesperson confirmed.
More than 1200 people had gathered to visit one of the world’s most iconic and loved places but who knew that such a sudden tragedy would ruin their festive spirits?
‘Our main goal is to ensure everyone’s safety first over anything else’- the head of the security forces stated in a recent press release. The blaze was controlled and now more investigations are taking place.
