Mom BLASTS Toy Company For Adding ‘Exaggerated’ Lips On Black ‘Baby’ Dolls

A mother from Australia has blasted a toy company for creating ‘different’ looking dolls.

The furious parent claims that the toy company chose to exaggerate the facial features on only the black version of its dolls while the brown and white ones remained the same and failed to include any of those changes.

Sources revealed the toy company to be Miniland Dolls where many others were quick to notice the change too, as large foreheads were also another feature worth mentioning.

Others felt that it was alright for a company to do so as it promoted diversity but there were plenty who disagreed and felt the mother was right in her decision to call the toy manufacturing brand out for its ‘ridiculous’ behavior.

“This is what purchasing black dolls in a country such as Australia looks like”- the mother captioned her post. And since then, it has managed to gain nearly 3000 comments, ever since it was published.

Another commenter agreed with the mother and felt that they really enhanced the lips and that’s when she wrote: “Okay, but for the lips, they really went all out on that!”

Others wrote how it was fine for a teenager or an adult to be portrayed in that manner but a baby to have such features was beyond outrageous and senseless.

A third person added how she certainly didn’t agree with the doll’s features but she did believe that there were some people in this world with features like those.

There were others who praised the brand as it helped in teaching children acceptance and there was nothing wrong with that.
