Rapper Travis Scott has finally broken his silence on the Astroworld tragedy that left several dead and hundreds injured.
The famous performer is speaking out after remaining dead silent on the incident that took away so many innocent lives, including those that traveled miles just to see him perform.
Travis explained how he was 1000 percent sure that he did everything possible that could assist all those dying members in the audience during the heartbreaking tragedy.
This is reportedly his first-ever interview since the hip-hop festival tragedy that took place last month. A total of 10 people passed away, with the youngest victim being just 9 years in age- Ezra Blount.
Travis explained how he did not hear any of the audience members in the Houston incident scream for assistance while he was performing as so many victims fell into peril.
“I just did not hear any of that,” the 30-year-old star boldly claimed on Thursday as he sat down, one on one, with Charlamagne that God on the show ‘The Breakfast Club.’
When the 43-year-old host questioned the rapper regarding if he felt that he did everything he could possibly do to assist, Travis broke down into tears, struggled to find his train of thought, and was at a complete loss for words.
The 30-year-old again stated with the great assertion that he was confident and sure that he did everything he could do physically to help out.
“And if I actually knew what was going on… you just wish you could have done something better. But, standing there, I did 1000%,” he added.
On the other hand, the rapper was quick to mention how he was ‘that type of artist’ who would have stopped an entire show if he was ever aware that his concertgoers were going down or were in danger.
