JUST IN: Tributes To Matthew Perry Begin Pouring In After The ‘Friends’ Star’s Sudden Passing


Tributes have begun pouring in after Friends star Matthew Perry passed away suddenly at the age of 54.

The legendary actor and comedian, who was best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the NBC sitcom Friends, died in “accidental drowning” at his home on Saturday.

According to the preliminary reports, Perry drowned in his jacuzzi and was found by first responders following reports of a heart attack.

Now, celebrities like Olivia Munn and Rumer Willis are leading tributes to the funnyman and remembering his work.

“He struggled so much with addiction and was brave enough to be open and honest about it. I’m so sorry to his family and friends who are getting this news today. Nothing short of heartbreaking. Rest in love, Matthew Perry,” X-Men: Apocalypse star Olivia Munn wrote.

“So sad to hear about Matthew Perry passing,” The House Bunny star Rumer Willis added.

“His physical comedy and that movie still makes me laugh so much. I know he had many challenges in his life and brought a lot of joy to people with his comedy. I hope he can rest peacefully.”

Willis also recalled meeting the “kind and funny and sweet” actor back on the set of her father Bruce Willis’ movie The Whole Nine Yards as a child.
