Shocking reports are speaking about the US Navy suffering a major loss after a mega fighter jet worth $56 million rolled off an aircraft carrier and sank in the Red Sea.
The fleet involved in the incident was the USS Truman, where the Super Hornet fighter jet slipped off the ship and sank into the Red Sea in what is being called an alarming and disturbing incident.

Thankfully, the pilot made it out alive, as per the reports published by the military recently.
The jet was said to be state-of-the-art and cost nearly $56 billion a piece. More details were shared about how it was being towed out of a hangar on Monday on the USS Harry & Truman when the tractor pulled it out of control.

Both the jet as well as the plane fell overboard, as per the concerning reports from the US Navy. The pilot and the Navy sailor driving that tractor managed to jump free, with only one of them getting a minor injury.
The USS Truman aircraft carrier group has been getting constant threats for a while now from the Iran-backed Houthi terror group that’s present in Yemen. It’s now stationed in the Red Sea to help keep commercial shipping in the area safe. However, it’s very common for this region to come under attack from Houthi rebels.
