President Donald Trump has slammed George Clooney’s appearance on 60 Minutes and dismissed the interview as being a total puff piece.
On Sunday, the two-time Oscar winner appeared on the news program to promote his Broadway debut which sees him portray renowned journalist Edward Murrow in Good Night and Good Luck.
Clooney also shared his decision to drop the support for former President Joe Biden before taking aim at the Trump administration.
Trump criticized the superstar and mentioned how his taking aim at the Trump administration is uncalled for, especially after he dropped support for Biden.
Clooney’s team is yet to respond to the news but it’s alarming to see what is being said right now. Trump slammed the producers for 60 Minutes and shared how it was startling to see someone taking on a second-rate movie star like Clooney for interviews.
Trump also questioned the motive behind the interview, feeling that there were much more accomplished and suitable people to be interviewed than him on the platform.
Trump also accused 60 Minutes of fraudulently adding fake answers into the disastrous interview which aired right before Election Day in what was called out as one of the most embarrassing shows of all time.
