Melania Trump caused quite a stir online when she was reportedly absent from the famous annual Trump Christmas Card.
Many were quick to jump to so many conclusions as to what the possible reason for her absence could be. After all, the entire family was there except for her.
Melania Trump opened up for the first time how the world might be celebrating the holiday season but she’s doing something completely different.
The former First Lady’s ailing mother is not doing well and that is why Melania is attending to her and all of her needs. She is reported to have spent her time by her mother’s side in the hospital and therefore could not make it in time for the annual Christmas card photoshoot that included everyone.
The portrait was reportedly shared by Donald Trump Junior’s fiance online and that is what caused a stir on social media.
It was a frenzy in terms of speculations and despite Barron Trump appearing all grown up, his mother was missed as she’s known for standing and embracing him in all of the family’s clicks. This time around, it was only his father that could be seen by his side.
One spokesperson for the Trump family claims Mrs. Trump has a lot of other things going on right now in her personal life and for her, there’s nothing that compares to having your parent by your side.
The news comes after Page Six reportedly updated how Melania had agreed to step up her appearances in the public eye, especially after her husband opted to run for a second time in the office for 2024’s US Elections.
“She has a lot on her plate right now. She knows how her schedules are but taking the time out to be by her mom’s side is everything for her”- the family’s rep continued.
