The US Army has reportedly suspended a leading commander after images of President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Defense Secretary Hegseth disappeared from a wall displaying the chain of command.
The commander was identified as Col. Sheyla Baez Ramirez, who was reportedly the garrison commander Ft. McCoy in Wisconsin. Such a suspension isn’t related to any kind of misconduct.
They shared how they have no further details at this moment on the matter, and it’s currently under investigation to figure out what happened and why.
Hegseth on Sunday reported a post on X where he claimed that the Commander of Fort McCoy, whose base chain of command board was missing images of the high-profile pictures, confirming that she had been suspended until further notice.
The news comes after the DOD shared a probe about why there was a wall displaying an empty chain of command frame on the wall where these people’s images should be displayed as per protocol.
A new picture was shared of the frames and how they were now filled appropriately. Regarding the Ft. McCoy Chain of Command wall controversy, he celebrated how it was now fixed. There would be a detailed investigation to figure out what happened and why, the department mentioned on the X account.
