A doctor accused of making plans to kill his wife by smashing her head against a rock was said to be upset over a very petty issue.
The couple was on a hike, and when she refused to take a picture with him, he lost his cool and decided to behave very aggressively with her.
This went as far as to smash her face against a rock and try to end her life by pushing her down a mega 1000ft high cliff.
After getting arrested, he said that nothing he did was his fault. In fact, he blamed the entire scenario on her and said that she was the one who instigated it by refusing to click images with him during the trip.
A manhunt was launched to track his whereabouts on Monday while his wife battles for her life in the ICU with life-threatening injuries across her face, head, and other parts of her body.
The officer who tracked him down after six hours ended with the qualified doctor giving up and surrendering himself.
He had zero remorse or shame for the act and kept trying to prove his innocence here.
As per the Honolulu Police Department, he even tried to prick his wife using syringes. This was a second-degree attempted murder charge that is now pending for review.
