Gender row boxer Imane Khelif is in the headlines yet again and this time around, she’s fighting back all the hate coming in her direction.
The star says she’s had enough of the fake lies and controversies that keep questioning her gender status. She also added that many people were ‘out to get her’ ever since she won gold for her home country Algeria at this year’s Paris Olympics.
Khelif appeared on television to settle the matter which has to be one of the most debated topics to date.
This has to do with a leaked medical report which has again begun a new controversy. Khelif attacked the French journalist who leaked the unverified report that she says is filled with nothing but lies. According to the boxer, all claims linked to her biological male status are fake.
She shared how her father already provided proof of her birth certificate to the world that showed that she was a female and nothing more was required.
‘I have every right to compete in any championship as a female because I am one’- she added.
The report was a part of the French magazine Le Correspondant that details about her XY chromosomes and her male characteristics.
The athlete vows to take revenge and file a mega defamation lawsuit against the leading outlet.
