A loving couple was delivered the most heartbreaking news recently by doctors regarding their health.

The couple who hails from Adelaide, Australia mentioned that health experts informed them both about their cancer diagnosis on the exact same day. And that absolutely shattered their hearts as they’ve got little kids.

The loving couple that comprises Kirsty and Steve Lee went on to mention how November 22 was nothing less than doomsday for them. For them, the diagnosis was like the bricks of a wall had come crashing down.

Kirsty was told that she had stage 3 breast cancer while Steve was informed about rectal cancer by his surgeon doctor.

For them, the news was the most heartbreaking thing they had ever heard. And the first thought across their minds was their kids.

Kirsty had reportedly gone in to get her mammogram which showed the metastasis of the breast while her husband went to get an endoscopy that outlined his terrifying rectal cancer diagnosis.

Now, the couple is preparing to undergo a round go chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy.

During this time, they will still be caring for their young son and daughter who are four and five years old in age respectively.

A friend of the couple has even set up a GoFundMe to assist in covering the expenses of medicines and health treatments that this couple would need to undergo.

“Life with kids at this point in time is definitely not easy”- the mom explained. And then, she went on to add that she knows that this is a huge challenge for them but they really hope to come back stronger than ever. After all, their young kids need them so badly.
