Sourcs from local media outlets claim two loving all-star high school cheerleaders were reportedly shot for getting into the wrong car. The duo was on their way back from practice but little did anyone know what was soon to come.

One of the victims named Payton was struck in the leg and her back and was seen with critical injuries. Sources revealed how her injuries and blood loss were so bad that she had to be airlifted to a nearby medical facility for help.

The incident reportedly took place at a parking lot in Elgin Texas. And the news had left a lot of people stunned.

Meanwhile, the other cheerleader was also struck by the suspect who continuously began to fire at the young woman, despite them crying and pleading for help and for him to stop.

The duo is known to carpool on their way back from college so they assumed the suspect’s car was one of their own. Hence, they sat down and that’s when all of a sudden, the driver who was also the car’s owner, started to fire at him.

One of the victims even began to cough up blood, and that just goes to show how serious her injuries were.

The suspect was immediately taken into police custody. He was identified as 25-year-old Pedro Tello and is being questioned about the horrifying madness that ensued this morning.

Witnesses claim they were appalled at the man’s brutal nature and behavior, adding him to a huge threat to the community. They did not understand why he repeatedly fired at them when they were unarmed and not causing him any harm.
