A United Airlines flight was seen getting diverted after an onboard incident left passengers in a very distressed state.
According to reports from local media outlets, the flight had crew members vomiting left and right, forcing passengers to demand masks due to a biohazard fear.
Flight 2477 was heading for Boston from Houston’s George Bush International Airport during the early hours of Sunday morning.
This was when it was forced to hit touch down at Washington DC so that an event of deep cleaning would begin. Sources claim this is after one passenger aboard the jet got extremely ill.
The situation was so serious that several crew members and others onboard started to become ill themselves. This left the pilots of the aircraft with no choice but to have the plane diverted during the early hours of the morning in the capital city of Washington DC.
As per reports from the radio traffic control, the pilot requested for landing and was granted that after the severity of the situation was assessed.
Many crew members started to feel sick and vomit too and that had passengers demanding an urgency for masks. Another crew member could be heard mentioning how it was very severe towards the back of the plane and both passengers and crew members were not well.
With such instances of a biohazard, the plane is forced to be sent to the ground as soon as possible and that’s where a deep cleaning process is initiated.
