The alarming threats did take many by surprise, Hegseth said that America was ready to enter into war with China, adding that it was ready to fight if and when it needed to.

That was followed up by, ‘We are prepared. Those who long for peace must prepare for war,’ he shared while stressing the importance of staying strong.

America left many countries unhappy, including China, Mexico, and Canada, after it chose to raise tariff,s causing a hit to their economies. This also means that regular products sold in the US would not be more expensive, leading to a crunch economy situation that many financial analysts are not happy about.
