Five members of a family in Utah were found dead inside their residence after a concerned relative showed up with no response at the door.
The relative contacted the cops who stormed in, only to find the unthinkable. All five members lay dead on the floor, leading to a haunting mystery as to what exactly went on.
More reports spoke about how one survivor lay dead with a gunshot wound on the body, indicating a possible murder-suicide incident.
The victims included a 42-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, an 11-year-old male, and females between the age groups of 2 to 9. This was confirmed by a spokesperson for West Valley City.
For now, it’s not too clear as to how the rest of the victims died as the death is still under a matter of investigation. The cops shared this violence is now over and was only limited to this household as no one else in the community reported any disturbing news.
When asked if they felt a suspect was on the loose, the police spokesperson said no.
Police came after a concerned relative barged into the residence via the garage during the early parts of Tuesday where they found a 17-year-old boy alive, covered in bullet wounds. He was hospitalized in an unknown condition and more efforts are being made for his recovery so that more details can be found about what exactly went on.
