China was seen lashing out at US Vice President JD Vance for his comments about Chinese peasants in a recently held interview that has drawn serious ire and ridicule across the country online.

Many were seen slamming Vance’s own self-proclaimed hillbilly background, adding how he was no aristocrat either to be looking down on a country as powerful and advanced as China.

Speaking to Fox News recently, Vance defended President Trump’s marketing tariffs and railed against the globalist economy.

‘What has the globalist economy gotten the USA? And the answer to this is fundamentally it’s based on two leading principles. This has to do with a huge amount of debt to purchase things that other nations make for us’- Vance boldly commented during the show on Fox called Fox and Friends.

‘To make it crystal clear at this moment in time, we are borrowing money from peasants in China to buy the things that Chinese peasants produce!’- he added.

The spokesperson for China’s foreign ministry mentioned how it’s both shocking and lamentable to hear the vice president make such ignorant and disrespectful remarks.
