At least 15,600 soldiers belonging to the Russian army have been killed as Ukrainian forces begin counter-attack and start regaining back their captured territory.

Sources from the US Pentagon, as well as Kyiv, have confirmed how Ukraine has been successful at launching a series of counter-attacks across the nation. And that is giving them a strong position against Russian soldiers who are finding it hard to stand their ground.

Moreover, troops from Ukraine have taken back the city of Makariv, west of Kyiv. This has reportedly put Russian forces at the great risk of being removed or cut-off, confirmed Ukraine recently.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has also confirmed the reports, adding how a series of attacks are currently underway near the city of Mykolaiv which is located in the south as well as Izyum that’s present towards the north-eastern side.

Ukraine’s defensive forces have managed to push Russia’s military at least 60 miles backward from the city of Voznesensk while showing great counter-attack skills at Kherson too.

In the same way, America revealed how Ukraine is now in a defiant position to regain lost territory and that is potentially a major signal of the shift in the ongoing war.

While 15,600 men have been lost from Russia’s army, at least 517 tanks have been destroyed and nearly 1600 armored vehicles have also undergone destruction, mentioned reports from Ukraine’s top generals.

Ukraine’s troops can now be seen raising their country’s flag with pride after regaining so many parts of their nation. And many referred to the heartwarming images as a clear sign that forces are not ready to give up, anytime soon.

This move has reportedly bogged down so many Russian forces fighting in Irpin, Bordyanka, as well as Bucha, which experts believe, are now at a greater risk than ever of being cut off.
