King Charles III appeared emotionally disturbed and had a hard time standing still while watching his mother’s coffin be raised and sent into Westminster Abbey.
Therefore, the camera’s eyes were able to see Princess Royal glancing at her brother, who had a stream of tears flowing down his cheek. She appeared visibly concerned for him as he continued staring at the floor.
In the same way, King Charles also looked very stricken with grief while singing the national anthem inside Westminster Abbey.
Charles soon gripped his sword and looked downcast as a series of hymns and prayers filled the entire church.
The King was wearing his military uniform as tears began to flow down his face after mournfully watching his mom’s coffin being carried inside the church for the service.
Princess Anne always had her eyes on her brother, clearly appearing concerned about how well he was able to cope amid all the emotional events taking place on this day as they bid farewell to their mother.
Moments earlier, the King was seen leading the way for the Royal Family as they all closely followed the Queen’s coffin while it was placed into a gun carriage utilized by her parents before moving into Parliament Square.
His two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry followed Charles. The latter was dressed in a morning suit while the former was dressed in his blue military uniform.
Inside the Abbey, the King could be seen sitting at the head of the family alongside his Queen Consort Camilla and Princess Anne with her husband, vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
Throughout the service, the King continued to wipe his ears and nose and there were a number of instances when he could be seen being comforted by Camilla as the camera’s lens captured every little detail for thousands of viewers to see.
