Kanye West is in more trouble as another major fashion label has opted to part ways with the troubled rapper.
Yesterday it was Balenciaga and today it’s Vogue who has vowed to never work with the musician again after he went on an anti-Semitic rant.
Vogue confirmed the news yesterday with a publicly announced statement that says they’re not keen on any type of work agreement with the rapper. The news comes after a long list of controversies that surrounded West in the recent few days and weeks.
One representative for the famous fashion magazine spoke to media outlet Page Six to talk more on the matter. And according to them, the company’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour says the brand has no intention of working with such personalities now or in the future.
Critics and experts feel this isn’t a huge shock. Many brands are reconsidering their contracts after the bizarre manner that the 45-year-old rapper has been displaying for quite some time now.
This includes his showing support for campaigns like the famous White Lives Matter Movement to outlining some principal reasons why he fails to apologize after making the most degrading and anti-Semitic remarks recently.
Vogue is known to have had a great working relationship with the star for quite some time now. This working relationship reportedly spanned over a period of several years.
Moreover, Vogue even paid the celeb and his former wife Kim Kardashian millions for opting to showcase their wedding pictures and shoot in the magazine. But it appears that things have ended on a bitter note thanks to Ye’s shocking stance on various media platforms.
Not only did he recently foul-mouth President Biden by calling him a f****ng retard but he was also seen slamming Jews and adding that they did him wrong. “I could go death con 4 on Jewish people”- he added. And many found that to be beyond outrageous and disrespectful.
Recently, the celeb was also banned from social media apps like Twitter and Instagram for such behavior.
