A former Kardashian app editor is breaking her silence on the way she was treated.
Jessica DeFino revealed how offended she became after watching Kim Kardashian give advice to other females.
The controversial clip shows Kim mentioning in a rather bold tone: “Get your f****king a** up and work”- yes that’s the type of career advice she mentioned to other females that are looking to change their lives.
But Jessica says she is not impressed because she could barely generate enough income to pay for gas, let alone food.
The woman who hails from Los Angeles mentioned recently how much of a struggle it was to work on the Kardashian app and she’s beyond appalled to see how nobody talks about it in public.
Taking a bold stance, the young woman is now telling the world about the misery she was forced to go through while generating thousands for the company’s app.
“These are tone-deaf comments by Kim who claimed that nobody wants to work these days. But I want to let her know that it’s not the case for everyone. We do wish to work but we demand a little respect in return, let alone compensation”-she continued.
As the LA editor for the Kardashians app, Jessica revealed through a Twitter post that she had no choice but to work all day, every day, including weekends. But what she got in return was simply not worth it.
Jessica’s shocking Tweet about how she was called out as sick for not being able to afford gas and for doing freelancing on the side went viral. She also shed light on how she was left with no option but to buy groceries from the 99 cents shop, striking plenty of Twitter users.
The Kardashians were recently asked to respond to the alleged comments made and while their reps have failed to speak on the matter, one inside source put their side of the story forward.
And that was related to how the Kardashians were simply a client for Whalerock, and that is where Jessica happened to be working.
Therefore, they had no idea about how any of the employees working there or their treatment.
