Many people cannot help but ask what the obsession of Trump with his shoes is, especially after footage from his assassination attempt went viral.
The former commander-in-chief was seen being whisked away by agents of the Secret Service who rushed to the stage to grab him after he was shot in the ear while addressing a rally in Pennsylvania.
Trump can be heard stating, ‘Wait, I need to get my shoes. Please get my shoes!’- after which one agent runs to throw his shoes from the stage to the ground before he’s rushed to a nearby hospital.
Now the question on many people’s minds is why Trump was so keen on having his shoes or what was in those shoes that he just couldn’t leave.
Trump himself addressed the matter during a recent interview. He says that the agents grabbed a hold of him so hard that it knocked his shoes off. He applauded them and said that his shoes were tight so they did a great job while smiling.
But he still didn’t explain what was in the shoes that made him want it so badly, even after he was injured. Some claim he didn’t wish to walk out with bare socks while another theory has some stating that an object can be seen flying out after the shoes were dropped from the stage. What do you think?
