A father is going viral online for starting a GoFundMe page after getting a jail sentence for busting two men that stole assets from his own residence.
The father says two burglars had reportedly broken into his home and stolen his motorbike. Therefore, he opted to teach them a lesson, once and for all. On that note, he crashed into them but the cops failed to see the situation. And instead, took him into custody.
Now, he has been hammered with a jail sentence. But along the way, he thought it would be a good idea to set up a GoFundMe page to put his perspective in front of the world on the matter. And it’s super interesting to note that people were certainly on his side.
The page has so far managed to gather $175,000 and is still counting. Moreover, the dad named Adam and his wife is now thanking the public for their immense generosity and support as it really means the world to them.
The 34-year-old dad made his appearance for an episode of Channel 4’s famous show called ’24 Hours in Police Custody’ which explained the entire event in detail.
This showed how the two burglars managed to enter his residence and target it, which he shared with his kids and wife.
This incident dates back to 2019 but has really gained a lot of attention in no time. The dad revealed how he was driving along the road and didn’t actually realize how sharp of a bend it had and that is what led him to plow directly into the burglars, causing them some serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the bodycam footage has also startled so many people out there. The dad continued to ask questions like, ‘Am I in trouble? I am not going to prison for this, am I?” And he was actually jailed for 22 months for this ordeal.
