Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how Gianmarco didn’t waste any moments to issue the sorry gesture to his lover after losing a symbolic wedding band that showed his love and companionship to her.
He happened to be one of the leading flagbearers for his country when all of a sudden, his ring slipped off of his finger and ended in the water while his boat traveled down the Seine during that event.
Expressing his apologies, he mentioned how sorry he was and that his wife was the love of his life. Nothing meant more than that ring to him and he even went about apologizing through his account on Instagram where his wife Chiara couldn’t be more proud of him.
