Rachel Minaya was reportedly found dead at her residence in New Jersey yesterday.

According to reports from local media outlets, she is the partner of former Mets GM and also the current Yankees executive Omar Minaya.

Sources revealed how Omar was not present at his residence during the time of his wife’s death and was therefore informed about the harrowing ordeal through a haunting phone call.

As per the individual who briefed loved ones about what happened, s*icide was ruled out as her cause of death.

The Minayas have two adult sons named Justin and Teddy. The former is said to be a forward player for the Portland Trail Blazers and has therefore been playing for the summer league team this month in Las Vegas.

Within just a year’s timespan, they both got engaged during their romantic trip to Italy.

Omar ended up joining the Yankees during the start of the year 2023 and therefore served as their senior adviser to GM Brian Cashman after spending 2004-10 as the Met’s GM role.

 

The news has reportedly left the family shattered as the cops are now investigating to determine what exactly happened.
