Prince William was furious when he found out about Harry and Meghan’s quasi-royal trip to Colombia, royal insiders have revealed.
The future king even wished to issue a statement on the matter when asked by the press but he was only told to hold back his sentiments on the matter because of his father. King Charles refused to allow Wiliam to speak on this issue as he felt it would make matters worse.
Harry and Meghan had shocked the world when they chose to go to Colombia which is known for its notorious crime rate.
The fact that they were no longer serving members of the royal family but touring destinations as if they were royalty had the palace upset and William was not happy.
The pair took part in plenty of local cultural activities and met with leading dignitaries who gave them full VIP treatment and protocol.
