“UK, US, & Australia Will PAY THE PRICE For Boycotting Winter Olympics”- Warns China


China has issued a stern warning to several different countries, accusing them of using political manipulation in the world of sports.

According to local media reports, China has slammed the US, UK, and Australia for boycotting the upcoming Winter Olympics, adding how they would soon pay the price for their decision.

The news comes at a time when tensions between the states are at an all-time high as these nations unite for a political boycott against the 2022 Winter Olympics that will be held in Beijing.

Only recently, Washington was quick to announce its boycott, adding how it made the decision keeping in mind the widespread abuse of rights carried out by China. Moreover, they referred to it as a genocide against the minority Muslim community of Uyghur in Xinjiang.

Just after the decision made by the US, a similar stance was taken by nations like Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom on Wednesday, adding more fuel to the burning fire.

Sources revealed how the boycott prevented athletes belonging to these nations from participating in the upcoming games. As one can expect, the news upset Beijing to a great extent, where the country’s foreign ministry even hinted at carrying out retaliation on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Russia has criticized the move adopted by these nations, whereas France has refused to indulge itself in the boycott as it strongly feels that the world of sports must be kept free of politics, at all costs.
