The chief of the International Boxing Association has demanded answers relating to controversial boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting at a recent briefing held in the capital of France.
Umar Kremlex says the two Olympic athletes need to prove that they were born females while taking part in a press conference.
He explained how a gender test in which they both participated in New Delhi had them out of the competition as they failed it. This meant they could no longer compete.
But to see both of them back at this year’s Olympics in Paris is shocking, to say the least.
This is why he wants proof submitted of any kind that confirms their gender identity at birth.
The boss of the International Boxing Association has spoken out about controversial boxers Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting at a briefing in Paris.
IBA chief Umar Kremlev, alongside CEO Chris Roberts, has demanded the two Olympic athletes have to prove they were born women during a press conference.
According to him, this is the only way to make the world understand what’s the truth and what’s not. And shockingly, Imane’s father has risen to the occasion that has been brought up against his daughter.
As per reports from Daily Mail Online, he’s said to have submitted his daughter’s birth certificate. And that proves how she was a female at birth and still is today.
