One woman is bringing to light her heartbreaking story where she donated her kidney to her lover, who dumped her, months later.
Without a doubt, it can be said that donating your kidney isn’t the easiest job in the world. Therefore, you must really love someone or hold them in the highest regard to indulge in something as severe as that.
But one woman’s heartbreaking story is sure to move you in more ways than one.
Colleen says that when she found out that her boyfriend was in dire need of some medical help due to his kidney issues, she opted to jump right in and save him by donating one of her kidneys.
But if you think that was enough to strengthen the bond between her and her loved one, then you surely need to rethink that notion again.
“I was given the chance to alter my boyfriend’s life. He meant the world to me and that’s exactly why I did it,” she revealed.
But after going under the knife, she soon realized that it just was not worth it because her boyfriend not only dumped her, 10 months later, he even had the audacity to label it as a publicity stunt.
The heartbroken woman shared her devastating and utterly tragic story via a series of posts on her public TikTok account.
“He cruelly told me that I did it just to make myself look good,” she stated.
The fact that her boyfriend had been struggling with a chronic kidney condition was enough to move her and treat him with great respect and kindness. She even accompanied him during his doctor visits but in the end, he cheated on her during a trip to Las Vegas and dumped her for another woman.
