A father is sharing his shocking incident with others online after a stranger tried to separate his baby son from his arms in public.
Sources from local media outlets claim the dad entered into a state of terrified panic and confusion when the incident arose. And now, he’s raising alarm bells so others can take notice.
Jon Baylis says he was minding his own business and was carrying his little one in his arms. And that’s when all of a sudden, he was approached by a strange woman. She just gave him bizarre stares and he immediately knew that something was off about her.
And before he knew it, she reached out her arms and tried to snatch his son away from him. Luckily, his grip was strong enough but the entire incident just rubbed him the wrong way.
“Who in their right mind would do something like this? I mean, it’s just bizarre and wrong. Did I mention how inhuman of a crime this is? It’s kidnapping taking place on the streets in broad daylight and someone needs to do something about this soon’- the dad continued.
The news spread like wildfire and before many knew it, there were even more complaints coming forward. People started to discuss their own encounters and how similar a situation they had faced in the same location of Truro, Cornwall.
The father who happens to work as an NHS worker says that he was just appalled at the behavior being put up in front of him.
He feels the woman was all set to get after her son named Dexter and had full plans of kidnapping him. Now, he’s raising the alarm and hopes others can take notice before it’s too late.
“I panicked. I was just so shocked. I yelled for help and she tried to make out that this was her child and before I knew it, she was gone!”- the dad continued.
He was quick to report the incident about the woman, who appeared to be in her 50’s to the cops.
