The captain of the doomed Bayesian superyacht that capsized off of the coast of Italy is speaking out from the hospital.
He shared how he had no idea that a tornado was about to rage through the location until after the ship sank.
Captain James Catfield who piloted the mega 184-foot vessel that was from the UK was lucky enough to survive amongst a few other passengers after the storm struck during sunrise timings.
When asked why he didn’t alert other passengers, he says that he did not see it coming. The captain was seen limping with injuries. He did express his condolences to the loved ones of the chef found dead aboard the vessel.
At the moment, a desperate search is taking place to try and find some lucky survivors who may still be trapped inside and possibly surviving on air pockets. But divers are having a hard time as they are only given 12 minutes to search before rushing to the top of the waters to gasp for more air.
Terrifying reports are now indicating how the British tycoon who was the owner of this vessel was found dead alongside his daughter, while his wife managed to escape luckily by walking through shards of glass on the floor.
