The rap queen and the gorgeous human, Nicki Minaj has taken Twitter’s assistance to announce her retirement.
Nicki Minaj is reportedly seeking retirement in order to focus on her family and giving them more time.
The rapper from Queens who started her music career back in 2004 made an announcement on her Twitter account stating that she has decided to retire from the music industry and focus more on her family.
According to the sources close to Minaj stated that she is all gaga over Kenneth Petty who she started dating back in December last year.
Minaj always used Twitter as a platform for expressing her views and giving advice to her fans on any concerned matter. Earlier on Sunday, she gave some pretty good relationship and self-love advice to her admirers via Twitter.
The relationship of Minaj and Petty has been stirring controversies since quite a while, majorly due to Petty’s past. The music executive was charged with rape when he was 16. He also served the punishment of 4 years from the 10 years sentence, after which he pleaded guilty.
According to the sources, Minaj has approached Beverly Hills Courthouse and filed for a marriage license. There was also news stating that Minaj got hold of the licence in July that had the validity of 90 days.
Fans have already made their guesswork by saying that the sudden retirement might start with a pre-planned wedding.
18 months back Minaj and Eminem had almost fooled about their relationship status. The rumors were also in the air that the pair were dating but it all ended up in false speculations when Minaj joked off the issue with her tweet.
Several fans have asked her publically on social media if the pair were dating to which she has always replied with a blunt “Yes.” Slim Shady also responded to Nicki’s comment on the same post saying, you know it’s true.
Whether Minaj is taking retirement to have a family or taking a break from the glitz and glam world, all her fans and admirers are utterly disappointed by rapper’s sudden revelation. Now, all her fans are expecting that her announcement be one of her sarcastic jokes.
