Nicole Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, selling over 40 million singles and 15 million albums worldwide.
But more than ten years after the girl group went on a break, she has signed a ‘multi-million-pound deal’ to return to the famous band.
It is reported that the 41-year-old singer has signed a deal to join the girls in a worldwide tour, with news of them also creating new songs.
The Pussycat Dolls, made up of Nicole, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar, were formed in 2003. They went on to release big hits including Buttons and Don’t Cha.
It was in 2008 when they released their second and final album Doll Domination.
Ten years after they disbanded, the girls will come together for a huge comeback.
“Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the ten-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready,” a source said to The Sun.
“Nicole was made a multi-million pound offer to re-join the group and was given a huge advance which made it impossible for her to turn down.”
It is reported that the group will announce their tour soon and it is anticipated to kick off next year.
Another source said: “It’s in the early stages but now they’re going to be back together, a couple of them, including Nicole, have said they’d be open to working on some new sounds together.”
They also said that there was a possibility about the girls ‘recording new music.’
One internet user commented: “I saw them in concert once, way better than i thought, they were awesome and live!”
Another wrote: “She looks great for her age. You go girl!”
