Name is the identity of a person and we are all so proud of our names.
This man called Nigel is proud of his name too but he was very outraged to know that none recently born child in the UK was named Nigel.
To let people know that the British name is still a great one, he is making an effort and perhaps his effort may get his name a Guinness World record.
The owner of the pub The Fleece located in Bretforton is very excited and has decided to honor his name, Nigel. For the same, he is inviting all the people called Nigel to his 600 years pub for a ‘Nigel Night’.
He is also going to apply t for the Guinness Book of World Records as it will be the largest gathering in the world of people called Nigel.
The event that will start about 7 p.m. on September 28 will be a special one for all the Nigel as they will not only meet hundreds of their name twins but they will also get a free beer if they are able to prove they are called Nigel.
Of course, the bar will not remain closed for people who are not called Nigel but they will have to wear a badge that will say that they are no Nigel. Aah.
The owner of the pub, Nigel Smith said that if the plans work out right and he is able to make a world record out of it then he will be moving forward. Yes, he says that he will then move to host a national gathering of people called Nigel, living in the UK.
He said that the British name is losing its beholders and soon enough, the existence of this name will vanish too.
