Nikki Bella who broke her engagement with John Cena last month has stated that she was the one who was not sure about to start a family in an interview with Page Six on Saturday.
She revealed that kids were not the reason for their split because she doesn’t want to have kids right now anyway and she has her niece, Brie Bella’s daughter Birdie Joe, to thank for that.
‘’Here I was dying to be a mom. Now I want to push it back, Can my clock tick until my 40s?’’ said Nikki.
John has even suggested she might push reproduction back to her next decade.
People also claimed that her breakup was arranged for the sake of her TV show Total Bellas.
Nikki responded to this saying, ‘’I would never fake a break-up,’’
‘’And when people keep questioning it, it actually makes your heart ache even more.’
She told People last month, ‘’After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways,’ the Total Bellas star, whose full name is Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, told the magazine.’’
‘’After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding.’’
‘’The Tampa, Florida native didn’t seem too filled with regret in her statement, saying she had ‘a beautiful and loving six-year relationship with a wonderful man’ in the 16-time WWE champion.’’
‘’I have the utmost respect for John,’ she added, ‘but I know this is what’s best for me.’’
The couple got engaged in April 2017 at Florida’s Orlando Citrus Bowl during WrestleMania 33 but called off their pending nuptials three months back.
