Dreschel’s accuser came forward with the allegations in June of last year. The unnamed accuser, who is now 20 years old, claimed that the two began having sexual relationships starting in 2015 when she was just 15 and Dreschel 26.

She said that the two first met one year prior in 2014 during an event in which several of the NBC television show’s contestants showed up. She says that the two first met and exchanged phone numbers during this event.

According to court documents, Dreschel then invited the victim to his personal gym in Hamden, CT. After his girlfriend at the time left the gym, the victim says that the two had intercourse. When the girl’s mother, who got news of the deed, confronted him, Dreschel argued he didn’t know the girl was underage.

Moreover, according to the legal complaint, Dreschel not only asked the victim to Skype call her while she was naked, but also kept various records of their relationship on a phone that he no longer uses.

Dreschel’s attorney told reporters that his client will plead not guilty to all the charges that were put forth. His attorney said that his client must be presumed to be innocent, and that he is confident it will turn out that way even after the trial.
