A Welsh cafe set an attractive challenge for all the foodies out there – but one year passed and no one was able to complete it.
Notty’s Cafe in Aberkenfig, near Bridgend, Wales, offers a handful of different eating challenges for people who can eat a lot. One of them, however, has defeated every single food-lover.
And the reason is pretty evident.
The breakfast challenge, Notty’s Gutbuster, is quite a thing for even the wildest eaters out there and that’s why no person has ever succeeded in completing it.
The meal comprises of five slices of bacon, five sausages, four hash browns, four portions of black pudding, four slices of toast, three eggs, fried potatoes, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, and a regular coffee or tea.
That’s a lot of stuff to be consumed in just one sitting.
This incredible deal can be obtained for a measly $16.
If you happen to eat all of it within 25 minutes (which is probably more difficult than it seems), your name will be featured on the restaurant’s Wall of Fame.
To make your name climb higher on the board, you just need to eat the meal in even less time.
As mentioned before, no one has yet managed to complete the challenge since the cafe launched it more than a year ago.
Unsurprisingly, all the contenders have made the cafe owners pretty rich, and they have recently opened another location.
The cafe is owned by 46-year-old Julian Nott who runs it with his wife Nicola.
“Customers like a challenge,” Julian said.
“We are getting a leader board made for the wall of fame where people’s names will be put on if they complete the challenge in the given time.”
In case you visit the cafe later in the day, you can always go for Notty’s Badboy Burger, another difficult challenge which has to be completed in 25 minutes.
The Notty Badboy comprises of four burgers, four cheese slices, four portions of bacon, three hash browns, with some chips and an egg.
Good luck completing this one too!
