Recently a dispute ignited between Iran and the US regarding an aircraft carrier and arms.
The US has imported these in some crucial areas of Iran that have scared Iran.
Iran is now under a conception that the US might use it against Iran and the Iranian officials said they won’t sit back if the US tried to make any move at all.
This warning was clearly a threat given to the US officials that Iran is definitely going to take a step.
Now the tension between the two countries is growing rapidly and because of the same, the US is scared that Iran might make a move and harm the officials residing in embassies of the countries that are under Iran like Iraq and Bangladesh.
This is the reason the US has released an order asking their non-emergency official to deploy Iraq immediately. Iraq has forces that are backed up by Iran and can take action against US officials if they get a chance.
The announcement was made that The US Department of state has ordered the non-emergency officers of the US government from Iraq to leave immediately from both the U.S. Consulate in Erbil and U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.
A spokesperson of the US government said that the decision was made after the concerns generated by US armed forces as they understand the seriousness of the situation and because they have doubts that Iraq is preparing their troops in the region.
The decision was only made with the security perspective of the officers. The number of officials was not revealed again for the purpose of their safety.
The spokesperson also added, “The safety of government employees, as well as all the citizens of the US, is the responsibility of government and we are working on that.”
