Novak Djokovic Won Wimbledon’s Final Defeating Roger Federer


14th of July, the golden date has received a special place for itself in the history of sports.

Such a day has never been there before and probably will never come back ever again.

Two of the world’s most prominent sports had their finals on the same day and the final matches of both the sports were more nothing like any other match ever played before.

Yes, England won ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in a super over and Novak Djokovic won his tennis match against Swiss star Roger Federer.

While the cricket match went amazingly fabulous, the tennis match was not far behind in the game.

The match Novak Djokovic and George Federer played was the longest ever Wimbledon’s final match where Novak was able to defeat George.

With this victory, Novak has won the Wimbledon’s final for 5 times and this makes him stand on the same position as Björn Borg, no. 1 former Swedish player.

Novak said that to him this was the most interesting and exciting match ever. He said that if it was not then it definitely comes second or third in the list of most interesting and exciting matches.

He was playing against Roger and said “Apparently I was playing against one of the greatest player of the game but we were opposing each other and at the end, one player had to win. It is a massive achievement for me because I expect a lot out of Roger.”

He says that Roger says he is willing to inspire other people that if he can play at 32 then other people can too. Novak said this is one thing that inspires him too.

The match was in the extra lights as it became the longest match in the history of finals of Wimbledon.
