Did you know that 5G technology helped in proliferating the coronavirus to a state that we are now in today? Betcha you never did because it isn’t true at all – one of those tall conspiracy theories people blabber over when egomaniacs have too much time on their hands.
And this becomes worse when the so-called “influencers” actually help proliferate the idea all over the Internet so that these spawns of misguided information can grow to be something so bad.
That’s what exactly Jelena Djokovic, wife of the Serbian living legend of tennis Novak, has done in her recent Instagram post. She posted this video of Dr. Thomas Cowan, who keeps on saying that his theory would consistently push for 5G technology somehow playing the role as an augmentation of the pandemic. It has been accumulated a view of near million, and Instagram was quick to put their feet in the matter and label the video as ‘False Information’
What’s funny is that she keeps on with this blank neutrality and justifies herself for posting these sorts of videos.
She has said : ‘I shared the video a few days ago for one reason only – it mentions the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, which is relevant to my area of interest and business, and hence my interest in this video was larger than the sea of other content I get.
Specifically, Steiner schools and kindergartens are located in 76 countries (Waldorf schools) and for some time I have been meeting with their work and studying the curriculum. Steiner’s philosophy and work on biodynamic agriculture have encouraged me to learn more, which I have devoted myself to in recent months.
So, it makes sense to me, I’m not claiming to be true or not, but I’m certainly interested in learning and getting informed about it.’
Meanwhile, her husband Novak is also a familiar figure on pseudoscience – he doesn’t ‘believe in vaccines’ and publicly announces his notion all the time. The Serb is in quite a pickle because after a Coronavirus vaccine is to be developed, the Federation will surely push for all players to be vaccinated before the season starts.
He lamented thus: ‘Personally I am opposed to vaccination and I wouldn’t want to be forced by someone to take a vaccine in order to be able to travel,’ Djokovic said in a live Facebook chat on Sunday. ‘But if it becomes compulsory, what will happen? I will have to make a decision.
