A shocking video has gone viral on TikTok showcasing a brilliant sense of unity on a Missouri highway when a Black woman who was pulled over by cops began screaming for help.
According to local media outlets, many drivers pulled their cars to the side after they witnessed an unarmed Black woman yelling for help as several policemen drew their guns towards her.
Many referred to the video as a document that proved an ideal example of an increased sense of awareness as well as agency in terms of police interactions.
The citizens all came together as one because they wanted to make sure the African American citizen was okay and was dealt with freely.
Moreover, the video was recently posted by a Twitter user who goes by the name of @sheniweird. The user mentioned in a bold caption how ‘we all need to begin policing the police in today’s world until it all makes sense.’
The video starts off with how the videographer starts to back up her vehicle so she can get a clear view of the situation as it developed with each passing second.
Here is where a number of different police units get a black-toned Sedan pulled on the highway, only to realize that the incident caught the attention of several passersby who also felt the need to park their cars and witness what was the matter.
Many feared for the worst as the woman was a Black and at that moment in time, 3 to 4 White officers drew their arms towards her.
“We all wanted answers because we feel she needs the same kind of respect that our homegrown terrorists receive,” mentioned the videographer. “We are not simply going to let you shoot down someone over a simple traffic violation. Not Today,” she added.
After the video gained online fame, plenty of viewers applauded all the efforts of the passers-by who assisted in keeping the woman out of danger.
