A medical center is preparing for baby celebrations among their very own labor and delivery nurses.
Nine nurses in Maine Medical Center in Portland are pregnant at the same time, due within only months of one another.
Eight of them posed together in front of the labor and delivery doors and showed off their bulging bellies.
Maine Medical Center shared on Twitter: “Have you heard about our baby boom? Nine of our labor and delivery nurses (eight are pictured) are due between April and July! Congratulations all!”
The nurses have bonded over sharing these special moments together.
Erin Grenier told WESH-TV: “After each one of us started to say, ‘we’re pregnant,’ I think it was a happier announcement each time, and we’re all there for each other.”
The nurses are enjoying an incredible camaraderie with one another as they go to work, sharing the trials and joys of pregnancy.
Even though working while pregnant is tough, especially with long shifts and physical demands, these women support one another throughout their journey.
“It’s really nice coming to work and seeing other people who are just as pregnant and watching their bellies pop and just talking about these experiences that we are going through together,” Amanda Spear shared.
Their babies are due between April and July, and these amazing women say they plan to be there for one another’s deliveries.
Congratulations to all expecting mothers!
