Having faith in religion is a great thing but forcing religion on someone is not.
While some people think it is necessary, others are not always in favor of the agreement with the opinion.
A complaint was filed against a nurse by a cancer patient saying she encouraged him to sing The Lord is My Shepherd from the bible.
Sarah Kuteh was sacked from her job of a nurse at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford in Kent, in the year 2016. She used to repeatedly talk to patients about her religious belief and handed out a bible.
Last week a ruling was published by the court. It said that a patient filed a complaint about her act on June 3rd, 2016.
The patient told the court that it was just like Monty Python skit and there she asked him to sing along with her.
But recently the ruling was held and her appeal of being free of the charge was dismissed.
The ruling stated that the Complaints Department of the hospital received the call by the offended patient on June 20th for the incident that happened on the 3rd of June.
The patient had written “open-minded” in the form in the column asking about religion. He said that the nurse had told him that the only way he could be near the lord is through Jesus.
He also said that she said that she would give him her bible if he needs. He then gripped his hand tight and spoke a prayer. He said that she then suggested him to sing Psalm 23. He said that this really astonished him and he sang the Psalm along with her.
To give the experience a term, he said it was bizarre.
This was not the only complaint that was made against her but there were multiple occasions when the patients complained about her forcing her religious belief on them.
